Richter's skyscrapers, also known as Rakete, are three residential buildings in the Vrbik neighborhood of Zagreb, built in brutalist style. The blueprint for the building was drawn up in the 1960s according to the project of the Centar '51 studio by architects Berislav Šerbetić, Ljuba Iveta, Vjenceslav Richter and Olga Korenik. The construction of the skyscraper was completed in 1968. After the earthquake in Skopje in 1963, the original project was modified so that the building could withstand a potential earthquake in its area. Initially, all three skyscrapers were supposed to be the same height (70m), but it was noticed that the two outer ones cut the way of the TV and radio transmitters, so they were built to an appropriate height.
